First Impressions Team


Welcome people into the Worship Center and help them find a seat, distribute bulletins and assist with offering collection. (serve: on rotation; one year commitment)


Warmly welcome people into the building, provide direction to guests. (serve: on rotation; one year commitment)

Welcome Center Host

Answer questions at the Welcome Centers, distribute brochures to guests, escort guests to wherever needed. (serve: on rotation; one year commitment)

Parking Team

Provide assistance if needed when people are being dropped off, welcome people with a smile, place Welcome Cards on vehicles in designated guest parking. (serve: on rotation; one year commitment)

Adult Connection Groups

CG Teacher

Tasked with preparing and engaging the class to teach and apply the weekly Bible study.

CG Evangelism Coordinator

Lead the class to reach out to prospects, identify and pray for unsaved friends and involve the class in mission opportunities.

CG Administrator

Lead the class to plan ahead and coordinate the weekly class gatherings and events.

CG Ministry Coordinator

Lead the class to care for one another, strengthen class fellowship and guide class to pray for one another.

Preschool Ministry

Connection Group Leaders

Teach preschool curriculum during the 9:00 a.m. service each week. (serve: one year commitment)

Bible Story Teller/Music Leader

Utilize the curriculum to teach a Bible story and/or music to preschoolers during the 10:30 a.m. service. (serve: bi-weekly rotation; one year commitment)


Work with preschoolers during the 10:30 a.m. service through various games, stations and activities. (serve: monthly; one year commitment)


Serve as a substitute for Connection Group leaders and PIER Team workers. (serve: as needed)


Teach or assist preschoolers on Wednesday night as part of our AWANA Team. (serve: Wednesday evenings, August-May)

Children’s Ministry

Connection Group Leaders

Teach children using curriculum provided during the 9:00 a.m. service each week. (serve: one year commitment)

Welcome Team

Receive guests at the Children’s Desk and assist with records processing during either the 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. service. (serve: weekly rotation; one year commitment)

KidsROCK Worship Team

Singers, actors and people who are excited about helping lead children to worship the Lord. Help to coordinate segments of the KidsROCK worship experience. (serve: on rotation; one year commitment)

KidsROCK Production Team

Run lights, sound and computer for KidsROCK. (serve: on rotation; one year commitment)


There are a variety of ways you can serve as part of the AWANA Team. We need leaders, game directors, listeners to test scripture memorization. (serve: Wednesday evenings, August-May)

AWANA Commander

Oversee and run the AWANA Clubs. This includes preparing for Opening Ceremonies, calendaring, special events, ordering materials, registration and training. (serve: Wednesday evenings, August-May)

AWANA Records Keeper

Work with the AWANA Commander to maintain computer records and clubber progress. (serve: Wednesday evenings, August-May)

Summer Wednesday Night Team

Using our summer curriculum, leaders will guide 3 year olds-5th Graders through lessons, games and activities (serve: Wednesday evenings during the summer)

Special Events Coordinator

Help plan and lead various children’s ministry events throughout the year. (serve: one year commitment)


Connection Group Leaders

Lead and facilitate CG with co-teacher for middle and high school students. (serve: one year commitment)

Special Events Team

Help plan and lead various Student Ministry events throughout the year. (serve: one year commitment)

CRASH Leadership

Welcome students, fellowship and supervise during Wednesday night “CRASH.” Leaders will also sit in and facilitate break out groups. (serve: weekly)



Take photos of special events and church functions. Must have own equipment. (serve: periodically throughout the year)

Film Team

Shoot and produce videos for special events, promotional materials and testimonies. Must have own equipment. (serve: periodically throughout the year)

Graphic Arts Team

Assist in producing graphics, images, web content and promotion materials for the church.


Tech Team

Assist with lighting, sound, media and other behind-the-scenes aspects of worship. Training available.

Musicians & Vocalists

Help lead worship for weekly services and special events. Audition is required for this position.


FB Food Bank (FB2)

Assist with meeting the needs of those who are in need of food related assistance.

Special Events Team

Assist with coordinating special events (i.e. Christmas, Reunion Services, Worship Nights).

Faith Based Partnerships

Help promote collaboration and sharing of resources and information between faith-based community groups, schools and parents.

Faithbridge Friends

“Adopt” an international student studying at JU and offer friendship and support. (serve: one year commitment)

Rock the Block

Leaders can host a RTB party at their home, lead in lessons, games and activities, help with food service or join a prayer team during RTB Week.


Missions Team Leader

There are different roles needed to provide guidance for each of our missions teams traveling abroad.

Mission Partner Advocate

Individuals who keep our church connected to one of our mission partners by facilitating prayer and communication on their behalf.


Office Assistant

Assist the office staff by answering phones, stuffing bulletins and completing other tasks as needed.

Marketing Team

Explore marketing opportunities for our church through various forms of media.

Wednesday Night Supper Team

Assist with preparing, serving or cleaning up after Wednesday night supper meals. (serve: August-May)

Prayer Team

Provide church-wide leadership to equip, involve and inspire our church to become a people of prayer.
